This is a website primarily but not exclusively, for all women of a certain age and above, who are impulsed to express themselves through style, fashion and beauty as they age (of course all other genders and ages are also welcome here). Beauty and style

are qualities which can be expressed not only through what you wear, how you do your hair or make-up but equally in how you decorate your home, your garden, your work-space or simply in how you live.

Within these pages you will find a space to come to be supported, inspired and to laugh – to leave perhaps feeling refreshed, more joyful and with a greater perspective. It is not offering any quick fixes, as ageing is simply a part of a much greater life-cycle and the only way we avoid it is by dying young.

Unfortunately ageing is taboo in our society, there is a conditioned aversion to it, we often dread it and particularly for women, try to hide it and stave it off as long as possible, or perhaps we resign ourselves and settle back, giving in and even giving up. And as long as we are, in most cases, and with the advances of our health systems, no longer allowed to die naturally any more, we are going to have more time spent in our ageing years. These latter years of life are undervalued by most

in our youth-obsessive culture but within the pages of this site the opposite is the case – here we honour these mature years as the treasure trove they are, mining them for the riches that are obvious and those that may not be immediately apparent.I am not here to sell anything – that is not the impulse for this site, more it is to share what I have discovered and am discovering as I go through the beauty and challenges of the ageing process. It is also to share cameos of other ageing mostly women I know who inspire and give me joy with their flare and style of expression. These women and men are not rich, are not famous, do not have a wardrobe of expensive designer clothes, nor an extensive Instagram following – they are simply ordinary people who work, have families and go about their daily lives but they are all ageing beautifully in their own ways and have something to offer anyone who cares to look.

Regard this space as a place to showcase and honour these women and men, the joy, beauty and wisdom they are and to glean the secrets of ageing they have found within their own life journeys. Take a moment to have a look and be enriched.
